Plassis ("we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information: (a) Account information: email address, display name when you create your account. (b) Event data: names and information of guests you enter into the Service. (c) Payment data: processed directly by Stripe; we do not store your credit card information. (d) Usage data: pages visited, actions taken in the app, for Service improvement purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process your payments; send you account-related communications (confirmations, important updates); analyze Service usage in an aggregated and anonymized manner.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you (e.g., Stripe for payments, Base44 for hosting). These providers are contractually required to protect your data.
5. Guest Data
Guest data you enter into Plassis (names, table numbers, etc.) belongs to you. This data is only accessible via the public link or QR code of your event, as you configure it. It is not used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.
6. Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Data from ended events is retained for 90 days after the event end date, then automatically deleted. You can request deletion of your account and all your data at any time.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure or destruction. All communications with our Service are encrypted via HTTPS.
8. Your Rights
In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the help page.
9. Cookies
We use cookies essential to the operation of the Service (authentication, language preferences). We do not use advertising tracking cookies.
10. Changes
We may update this policy at any time. In case of significant changes, we will notify you by email or via a notification in the application.
